2.) After you've found a few companies, interview prospective companies. Tell them what you need done and let them quote you a estimate.

Be sure to find out what role the person you're speaking with plays at the company. Are they a sales rep, estimator, supervisor, or owner?

Will they perform all the requested services or do they subcontract specific work to other local companies?

Tips: When possible, try to work with a local business owner because they spend the money locally. Be sure to get an detailed estimate of the services you'll be paying for. It does not have to be super specific, but services promised need to appear on paper to reduce the chances of miscommunication.
